Branded as “roar”, Roar designs is a South African brand/company that designs and prints casual/athletic Clothing and innovative home decor products.

The Company was founded in 2019 by Nsike Gwala as a T-shirt printing company after seeing the long term demand for printed T-shirts and home decor within the industry and a gap in Newlands West community where there was no one who owned a design and printing business. The community has a lot of young people who love the idea of wearing a proudly local brand because of its unique look and affordability. Also, Newlands west is a suburban area where people love beautiful interior designs for their houses.

In 2020 Yolanda Mzizi joined the company as a partner. Jointly We invested in the business until we were able to purchase our own design/printing equipment and Roar Designs was officially registered.

Roar has been Well received by the public as one of the best local brands with its Minimal eye-catching look in terms of branding. Roar products have been sold to customers all over South Africa and we have received great feedback on our social media and website.
